Booking Protect will refund the cost of your booking if you cannot attend a booked event due to any of the following reasons:
- Unexpected disruption to public transport that could not reasonably have been known before the event date
- Injury or illness affecting you or a family member
- Death of the customer at any time before the booked event, or of a close family member within 4 weeks of the event
- Mechanical failure, accident, fire or theft en route to the event in your private vehicle
- Jury service you were unaware of at the time of booking
- Burglary or fire at your home in the 48 hours preceding the event requiring emergency services
- Being called as a witness in court proceedings you were unaware of at the time of booking
- Being a member of the armed forces and being unexpectedly posted abroad
- Adverse weather conditions (snow, frost, fog, storm) where police or government authorities have issued a travel ban โ proof of road closures required
- Permanent relocation for work to more than 100 miles from the event (unknown at booking), or unexpected forced redundancy
